West End room in beautiful Victorian property

This is a spacious room on the top floor of a Victorian property. Among other things, the room is furnished with a single bed, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe, large desk, chest of drawers and armchair. Double glazing has just been installed. We three tenants share a kitchen and bathroom. We also have access to the landlord’s washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and freezer. The landlord, an elderly gentleman, lives in the property – we merely occupy the top floor. There is a key to the residents’ garden.
We are a gentle-spirited lot looking for an open and friendly new housemate, ideally a postgraduate student. I have already lived in the property for 10 years and meanwhile work from home as a freelance translator. My other housemate is a PhD student currently working on his thesis. We like to meet up in the kitchen for a nice cup of tea and a chat or to have dinner together. Occasionally we like to go on trips together – picking berries, hiking, to the cinema...
