Large Beautiful Room

Short term let only 2-7 months. The house is reasonably close to Joppa and the room is fully furnished with double bed, desk, chest of drawers, sofa and armchair. The house is very old and has a very large garden. It is five/ten minutes walk from bus stops taking you straight into town, major shops, and 15 mins walk on a footpath to the beach. It would be perfect for someone who likes being outdoors and who enjoys cycling as there is a bicycle path all the way into the centre of Edinburgh. You would use one of two kitchens and share toilet facilities, and depending on who else who is here, you may be sharing them with one or two other people. Ideal for someone who does not mind a quirky old house, who can be careful looking after it, and who loves living with history.
I am an artist and live here some of the time but like to keep to myself so please don't expect sociability. I travel frequently which is why I am renting my room. You may be alone some of the time. At other times you may overlap with a masters-student staying in another room.
I don't like to post pictures of the house online so this is part of the garden. If you're interested then I will email you photos of the room.
