Room with en suite for rent!

We are a couple who live in a two bedroom flat, the free room is spacious enough for a double bed but only has a single at the moment. It is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, drawers, sofa, bedside table and an en suite bathroom. The price includes rent, electricity, wifi, tv license and council tax. It has a large communal space and kitchen with a washing machine and lots of light and plants!

I (Filip) currently work from home but will be studying horticulture at the Botanics from late September until the summer. I am quite nerdy and very open minded, I have a keen interest in fungi, music and I like to immerse myself in thought provocative theories. I also dislike small talk and would rather discuss big ideas. I was born and raised in Sweden, but decided to escape a politically sane climate and leave Europe (big regrets [not really]).

My partner Alex works as a full-time gardener, she’s very creative and loves arts and crafts, especially knitting and drawing. We’re both aspiring homesteaders, eager to live off the grid, although this would be several year into the future. We’re also big nature lovers and spend a lot of time outdoors, foraging, reading, camping, you name it. We live as sustainably as possible, eating a predominantly plant-based diet and go shopping at a zero waste shop nearby. However, we’re inclusive to all diets and beliefs, and provide a very open environment to live in. We’re incredibly friendly and social but both love our down time to recharge and spend time on our hobbies and interests. The only real requirement we have is to live with a professional, as it would be very helpful in order to pay the council tax!
