Quiet Leith Flat with Cats

Hello flat-hunters!

My flatmate is moving out, so I'm looking for a chill, cat friendly professional to move in with me and the clowder. The room will be available from the end of October (there may be some wiggle room here, but we won't know til mid September).

The flat is in a friendly, quiet stair on Constition St and features high ceilings and large windows (for all the sun we get in Scotland). There's plenty bars and shops nearby to choose from, and good transport links into the city centre. The room is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, and bedside table. There's also a cupboard wardrobe and underbed storage, plus space for a desk/additional furniture if needed (my current flatmate can leave her desk for you if you fancy!). The bathroom, kitchen, and living room are shared - highlights include shower over bath, use of my super cool food processor, and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime.

You'll be sharing with me and my cats! I'm 28 and work full time in a remote/office hybrid customer support role with an emphasis on wfh. I enjoy a quiet life, hanging out with cats/partner/friends and will happily share a bottle of wine, binge some Netflix, or embarrass myself playing video games with you. The cats are indoor only, love cuddles, and are (mostly) well behaved - though they do get the occasional late night zoomies.

I'm looking for someone long-term, who will be mindful of the cats and do their bit to keep the flat/shared spaces clean and tidy. Ideally you'll be keen to hang out once in a while, but no worries if you prefer to keep to yourself. Bonus points if you're vegetarian, but meat eaters are still welcome (just be prepared for the cats to gawk over you a wee bit). The rent, council tax (C), utilities and whatnot work out at around 650~p/m (though energy bills likely to increase in the coming months/at winter). I'm happy to provide a proper breakdown to those interested.
