Description

Our flat is part of an 18th century listed tenement building in the old port town of Leith (now part of Edinburgh) and is named the Waterloo Buildings, as it was built in 1815, the year of the famous victory. It has all the original fireplaces and plasterwork - we have endeavoured to be sympathetic to our environment when remodelling the space and have made the most of the quirky corners and archways.
We are now steps away from the tramline stop The Shore! This gives us incredible access to both central railway stations and the airport.

Your bedroom is a pleasant, spacious room with a double bed, a day bed/sofa, a workspace with a filled bookcase and desk. There is a little wardrobe for hanging your clothes and a bed-side table. There are working shutters and double curtains.
This room also faces a main street and can get a bit noisy with all the pubs, restaurants and the dings from the tram stop outside the windows! Ear plugs advised.
You will share the bathroom and kitchen with us.
We do have a wee calico rescue cat who can be a bit shy but also very nosy. .
