Bright Double Room in lovely 2 Bedroom Flat

I'm looking for a friendly, tidy, and respectful flatmate to join me in my lovely two-bedroom, one-bathroom flat in Bonnington—a quiet, residential neighborhood in Edinburgh that’s perfect for students or young professionals. We are incredibly close to public transport links, with frequent buses (11, 7, 14, 21) just minutes from the door that’ll take you to the city centre in about 15 minutes.

The flat is bright and airy throughout, with lots of natural light, especially in the living room, which has beautiful crown molding on the ceiling and a warm, welcoming vibe. There’s a smart TV with access to all major streaming platforms, which you're absolutely welcome to use. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of storage, a dishwasher, and all the essentials for someone who enjoys cooking. The bathroom includes a heated towel rack, and the heating in the flat is on a fixed rate.

Your room will be furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and dresser. It’s bright and cozy, with high ceilings and a large window that lets in plenty of daylight!

One of the best parts of the flat is the location—we’re right on the Waters of Leith walkway, ideal for walks, runs, or just enjoying a bit of green space. It’s about a 12-minute walk to Ocean Terminal and the Leith Shore, where you’ll find great restaurants and cafés. Grocery stores are nearby and there’s a walkable farmers market in the area.

A little about me: I’m 25, originally from California, and recently finished a Master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh. I enjoy reading, watching movies, trying out new restaurants, cooking, and playing board games. I’m clean and considerate but also easygoing, and I’d love to live with someone who’s down to occasionally hang out but also values their own space. The building has a lot of familiies in it, so this is not a party flat, but hang-outs with friends and chiller dinner parties are welcome!
