My flatmate is moving out and I am looking for someone to take over her room and tenancy! The flat is located in Leith just a couple minutes walk from The Shore tram stop. The area is well connected to transit with plenty of shops within a short walk, there is also a car park for permit holders behind the building.

About the flat: The flat is on the third (and top) floor of a relatively newer building. The room is a double room with furniture included and the flat overall is pretty modern and well cared for. There is even a little attic space for additional storage. I’ve lived here for one year and never had any issues with the neighbours or the landlord.

About me: I’m 31, Canadian and have been living in Edinburgh for just over a year. I work full time but like to spend time at home when I’m not working. I enjoy hiking, camping, theatre, baking and quilting and am not big into drinking and would generally prefer a more low-key night with friends over a board game or a movie.

About you: I’d like to live with someone who is a working professional of similar age to myself and who is considerate, responsible and tidy. But it would be a bonus to make a new friend and not merely coexist! Must be LGBTQ+ friendly. Also, I am considering adopting a dog in the future so hopefully you like dogs! The flat is let through Southside Property Management and any prospective tenants will need to complete their application process.
