I'm letting a bright and spacious ensuite double room with a built-in wardrobe in a modern development on the Shore (Ocean Terminal tram and buses one minute walk away).
The room comes furnished with a king-size bed and built-in wardrobe, quality mattress, full-body mirror, and double bedside shelf. A desk can be provided upon request.
The ensuite bathroom has a glass shower and comes with a stylish mirrored cabinet.
You'll share the large open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen comes with all modern appliances (large fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob and dishwasher).
The hallway houses heaps of storage and a modern Bosh washer-dryer.
The living area opens up to a south-east facing balcony with great views over the water. The entire flat abounds with natural light and is extremely quiet despite the tram stop being just a minute away.
The flat is within a 4-year old development with lift, common inner landscaped garden and bike storage, is extremely well insulated and warm throughout the winter.
Bills (council tax band E, gas and electricity, and ultra-fast Hyperoptic broadband) are included in the monthly rent and will be periodically reviewed to account for yearly increases or use for utilities.
The room is big and would be suitable for a couple sharing. In this case, rent will be adjusted to £1330 pcm to account for a proportionate share of bills and utilities between all tenants.
We have a cleaner fortnightly and we'd like to keep this (costs about £50 per month based on 2 tenants). We trust that we keep the place as clean as possible in-between cleaner's visits.
A few words about me, the landlord. I'm renting my own room in the flat share as I'm moving abroad. You'll be sharing with my current flatmate, a 30-year old professional who works standard hours mostly from the office. Philippos is quiet and respectful of common areas, the latter of which we'd expect from you as the new tenant.
We're looking for a flatmate with similar interests, who values living in a clean and tidy home (but we're not manics). We'd love to meet you if you think our home is for you!
