Double room in Liberton/Gracemount area

I have a double room that is available for long term letting from the 4th of September. You will have a spacious bedroom with a double bed in a very nice apartment located in the south side of Edinburgh.

You will be sharing the house and common areas (including a lovely private garden) with me (current tenant) and Linda (the dog). I am a researcher at Edinburgh uni in my 30s and I often work both from home and my office in town. I like to live in a calm space, but I have lived in shared houses ever since I moved out in my early 20s and I enjoy having people around. However, you’ll get left alone if you just want peace after long shifts of work. I am not a party person, and always check with housemates before having people over, which usually happens once a week/ every 2 weeks. Linda is a wee 7-year-old calm, well-behaved and friendly dog that, while at home, loves to sit by the window, looking out and watching the birds.

I am looking for someone who’s tidy, and respectful, LGBT person or ally, who’s willing to equally contribute to household chores and cares about maintaining a good atmosphere at home and is not just renting a room but sharing the space and making it their home.

There is a Tesco, a Co-op and a Margiottas within a 5-10-minute walk from the house, and Cameron Toll is 10 minutes away by bus or a half an hour walk. There are 4 different bus lines that run to the city centre, and the commute is 20 minutes. The braids are within a 10-minute walk and make for a relaxing walk in nature. There is on-street free parking just outside of the building.

Lastly, bills (council tax, internet and energy costs) are not included and come up to £115 per month/per person.
