Bright double room in friendly Marchmont flat!

Hi! We are Katie and Maite, two very friendly and sociable girls. One works hybrid from home/office as a software engineer and the other is a nurse, so we are mostly busy during the day. (Katie is also on night shifts sometimes). In the evening we like to socialise in the kitchen, cooking together every so often or watching a movie with tea&biscuits. We like to have the occasional dinner party at the weekend (love sharing food, one flatmate is vegetarian one is not). We also do some arts&crafts, painting, rock climbing and try to enjoy the outdoors (hiking and cycling especially). We occasionally borrow/walk the cutest dog in town, scruff! We're looking for someone supportive, spontaneous and sociable, who we could hang out with and may share the same interests as us. It would be lovely to head out to a cafe or charity shop together. Note, sadly Katie will be moving out soon-ish too.

We are offering a large, bright double bedroom with plenty of storage available for long-term tenancy from 1st August, as sadly our third flatmate is moving out. The flat is located on Warrender Park Road right next to the Meadows in Marchmont. We have a big kitchen/living room with anything you might need (dishwasher included!), a boxroom and more storage closets if you need extra space to store anything. The room has a built-in wardrobe and a cute window seat. We're renting from a private landlady who is really chill and responsive if there are ever any problems. We also share a big garden which is great to hang out in the summer.

Rent is £518.50 plus bills (around £50 a month) and council tax (band E, around £72 each). There might be a 10% increase in October, unless the landlady decides to increase the rent at the tenancy changeover. We will update the ad as soon as we know.
