Description
Hello! I'm currently looking for a flatmate to move in on the 10th of April into the lovely flat I rent and have lived in for the past 6 years. The flat is in a really beautiful tenement building just off the meadows in the Marchmont/Sciennes area.
The flats got double glazed sash windows, a large lounge, a shared kitchen, three storage cupboards, a shared bathroom and two bedrooms. I’m very into my home decor and so the flat has gotten more decorated over the years I've been here.
I’m a trainee primary teacher currently on placement in Edinburgh. I work in a local cafe on weekends whilst I’m studying, but will (hopefully) qualify as a teacher in June of this year. I enjoy going on walks, swimming and occasionally walk and look after dogs. I’m a tidy and respectful flatmate who enjoys having a calm flat, but am happy with friends and family coming over. I have friends and family that visit every now and then and stay on a futon bed I have that I’m more than happy to share with my flatmate and their guests.
I have a great relationship with the landlady and she is happy for me to find a flatmate myself to move in, which I have organised before by meeting someone on Spareroom and it worked out great.
The flat’s rent is currently £1400 per month (divided by 2, each persons share is 700), the landlady is increasing the rent incrementally so this will change however not too significantly.
I am looking for someone who can commit to around a years minimum let and look forward to chat with you if you feel you're the right fit for this flat.
Thanks, Maddy
