You would be getting the bigger room of a lovely second-floor 2-bedroom flat in the beautiful area of Marchmont, just a 5-minute walk from the Meadows park. The flat is equipped with everything you’d need for a comfortable living experience, including both a laundry machine and a drying machine, a dishwasher, various other kitchen appliances, and a spacious living room. All the rooms get plenty of natural light, and there’s lots of storage space. The flat is near multiple grocery stores, the Warrender Swim Center & Gym, barbers/hairdressers, cafes, restaurants, charity shops, etc.

About me:

I’ve recently graduated with my bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Edinburgh and am currently in the process of applying for jobs; therefore, I am ideally looking for other young professionals or postgraduate students in their mid-twenties to early thirties. I am a friendly and communicative person, happy to hang out with my flatmate but also respectful of alone time and privacy. I value a clean and tidy household, which will be a sanctuary for relaxation rather than a party flat, so I am looking for someone with a similar mindset to share the space with, while, of course, guests are welcome as long as we give each other a heads-up. It is important to me that we both feel comfortable in our home and around each other; the flat is LGBTQI+ friendly, and no smoking of any kind is allowed inside. Some of my interests that it would be great if we shared are spending time outside in nature, attending live music gigs, and playing board games (got a large collection at the flat!).

P. S. Council tax (Band E) is £146.5/month per person (total of £293/month split equally) and gas & electricity bills are approx £60 each per month - these are not included in the rent price.
