Hello, we are currently looking for a housemate to take a room in our 4-bedroom flat in Morningside. The flat is situated in a quiet area, close to Morningside Road with plenty of shops, cafes, supermarkets and nature walks.
The house is on a first floor, so only one flight of stairs from street level. There is a beautiful communal garden to the rear of the property. The kitchen has all the usual appliances including tumble-drier.
The room is small / cosey, with a three-quarter bed (slightly smaller than a standard double) with a desk, Ikea storage shelf unit, wardrobe, bedside table, and storage drawers under the bed.
The rent is £423 a month (includes council tax) with bills not included. (Bills - gas & electricity, water, Wi-Fi, approx. £50 per month each, energy bill may be less during summer months).
You will be sharing the house with three guys - Robbie (36), Steve (40) and Walter (24). We all have different occupations and, in normal circumstances, different routines. At the moment we are all spending most of the time working from home. We share similar interests such as music and films. We enjoy the occasional chat but we also like our own space. We like a peaceful calm home; the flat is not a party flat.
Our neighbourhood is safe and quiet, mainly families with young children, and elderly couples.
We are looking for a clean, responsible and respectful individual, who would contribute with the cleaning and household expenses. We prefer a professional for council tax purposes.
The room is vacant and available now. No short-term stays, minimum stay is 6 months. Deposit is £423. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
We're initially organising virtual viewings and then in-person viewings for folk who are interested.
