Double room available in Morningside

Hi, my name is James, I’m 22 and I am a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. My flatmate is moving out in March and I am looking for someone to rent a double room from the start of April (but this can be flexible).

The flat is located in Morningside, on a quiet street (close to a Waitrose, M&S and Sainsbury’s) and on the top floor of a clean, safe stairwell surrounded by friendly neighbours. The flat has lots of light, a large living room and plenty of space for cooking in the kitchen. The room is huge and has space to work from there if needed (the desk is included). The flat is within easy access to the town centre with excellent public transport links. It is also possible to apply for an on-street parking space.

I am originally from North Yorkshire but moved to Edinburgh for my PhD. As I am a student, the flat would most likely suit a student for council tax purposes. I work in the lab most of the day, but I am in the flat on an evening. In my spare time, I like playing and watching football and cricket, going to church, going on walks, cooking, watching Netflix and spending time with friends. I am also looking forward to exploring more of Scotland when the lockdown is over!

I am looking for a flatmate who is relaxed, considerate and kind, and is also happy to keep the flat clean and tidy. Ideally, it would be nice to have some good chats and to have the occasional movie night/ dinner together, but also respect each other’s space.
