Single bed room available in Morningside

We have a single bed room available in our four-bed flat in Morningside, available from the 5th of August, for £400 pcm (not a typo), provided rent stays the same which is up to the letting agent/landlord.

The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, standing shelf unit, mirror, bedside table, desk and chair. Quiet room and location.

The flat is situated on the first floor on a quiet street with all amenities and travel links just a couple minutes' walk. We have an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and communal garden.

About the flatmates - we are three professionals, all guys, aged late 20s early 30s. Baker, pizzaiolo and data scientist.

We're looking for a clean and tidy flatmate in our age range and who is in full-time employment. We're a quiet flat (not a party flat) and appreciate quieter evenings - two of us go to bed around 9pm and get up as early as 4 am for work.

The flat is inclusive and queer friendly, and ideal for someone who wants to rest after busy work days. We're friendly but don't socialise together much due to our busy lives, and we really value finding someone that fits well with our clean, easy-going and kind but responsible vibe.

We share cleaning responsibilities and household bills. The rent is £400 per month (again, if rent doesn’t go up), and then it’s ~£20 for council tax, ~£10 for WiFi, and £35-45 (depending on the time of year) for gas & electric.

As we are looking for someone who will settle in, we're looking for a flatmate with a minimum 12 months stay, ideally longer, but as we’re prioritising a good fit, this is not a hard boundary. Unfortunately we are not looking for students, and no pets (contract). We have an agent which will do credit checks etc. for a flatmate moving in. These checks can take one - two weeks to complete.
