A bright, comfortable, furnished double bedroom in a cosy flat in Morningside will be available from early January 2026.
You’d be sharing with me — I’m 27, originally from Australia, and I like to cook, hike and enjoy some board games/movies. I also work from home most days. I’m easygoing, but value a clean and tidy home.
Rent: £750 per month, excluding utilities and council tax.
The Room:
A double bedroom with a large window and plenty of natural light, plus a lovely view of the Pentlands. It comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, side table, desk, and there’s plenty of storage.
The Flat:
Situated at the top-floor, there’s a communal bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and good storage space. The flat has a comfortable shared living room, with a projector (great spot for a movie night), and a dining table with a view over the street. There is also access to a shared back garden.
The Location:
Near the top of Morningside, with M&S, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, cafés and independent shops all close by. The area is full of green routes and easy walks, and close by to Blackford Hill & the Hermitage. I usually walk into town myself, but buses into the city centre are frequent and convenient - with a bus stop a minute or two walk from the flat.
Other Details:
Council Tax Band C.
Utilities and council tax are split between us. (comes to around £150 all up pm)
Students are welcome, as long as they’re able to contribute to council tax.
Availability:
Move-in from early January 2025.
Good fit for a someone looking for a friendly, peaceful, well-connected home.
