Double room in family home

Double room in family house occupied by my husband and I. I’m French and he’s English and our children are at university abroad this year. I work 4 days a week and he works p/t from home. We’re friendly and outdoorsy.
The room is on the ground floor at the front of the house. It has a double bed, a wardrobe, desk and chair and a comfy armchair.
There is a bathroom on the same floor which isn’t en suite but isn’t used much as we have our own upstairs.

You will have access to the open plan kitchen-dining room - it has a gas cooker, oven, microwave and the usual cooking paraphernalia. Access to the lounge only when we’re not there.

The house has a large south facing garden and is located on a very quiet street. It is very well connected to the city centre by bus or a 20min bike ride. No 5/16 3 minutes away and Nos 23/11/15 7 minutes away. We’re 10 minutes walk from some shops and cafes and 15 min from bustling Morningside.

We’re looking for a friendly, quiet, student or professional, who enjoys a clean, tidy, respectful and peaceful home. Ideal for a mature student (masters or PhD) or a young professional working in the office (sorry no home working or only occasionally). Very happy with a new comer to Scotland.

The house is friendly, relaxed and respectful, so everyone can have their own space and independence.
We keep the house clean and tidy and expect a lodger to do the same.
Standard flat-share agreement with one month's notice either way.
