Double Bedroom Close to Qmu and Train Station

A spacious double bedroom in a characterful and well looked after flat within easy walking distance from Queen Margaret University, Musselburgh town centre and the harbour and easy access to the city bypass and A1.

The house also provides an easy commute to Edinburgh via train (6 minutes) or bus (approx 40 minutes) and is on a bus route to the Royal Infirmary.

If you are not a student we will need to discuss Council tax. I get a single person discount (25%) and I would ask you to pay the difference for that being removed (Council tax band D). All other bills are included including heating, Now TV, Netflix and internet.

The room is your private space and is fully furnished, including a wardrobe, bedside tables and drawers.

The bathroom, which has a shower over a bath is shared as are the kitchen and garden. The lounge is my work space during the week but you can use it in the evening and it has a dining table.

There is a Tesco Superstore a 12 minute walk from the house, and a row of shops including a paper shop and takeaways at the end of the street.

I am vegetarian but I don't mind meat being prepared/eaten in the house as long as you clean up after yourself.

The back garden is a sun trap and there is a shared drying green behind the garden.

There is free on street parking outside and on surrounding streets.

I am a fairly relaxed and sociable person but I do have a stressful job and my home is my sanctuary. I would like to share with a like-minded person. I also have a two and a half year old Cockapoo called Dougal so you must like dogs.

Please note this is initially a short term let (up to 3 months). If you are looking for permanence my home isn't the right place but if you need some where for a short while or as a base while you find something more permanent you are welcome to come and have a look.
