Cosy double-room in a Newington flat

Hello! I have a free space in a cosy flat in Newington 🌟 the availability date is a placeholder, I’m waiting to hear back to confirm but it’ll be the first days of May (1st – 4th).

I’ll likely be interviewing for this on Sunday 13th April <3

It’s a two-bedroom, situated 2 mins away from bus links, shops and Surgeons Hall and a nice 15 mins away from the Royal Mile and Holyrood park providing a very central location. Other perks include a dishwasher (gasp), newly-fitted carpets, as well as new window seals so no drafts get in.

Bills so far are £615 for rent (landlord may increase slightly) plus around £140 for utilities (gas/electric, broadband + council tax band B) – these may fluctuate.

Who I’m looking for: a clean, communicative individual. Ideally not WFH as I already tend to work here quite a bit and find that it gets a bit crowded with two people taking calls at once 😊 If you are veggie/vegan, that would be amazing but it’s not a deal-breaker if not as long as you store meat properly and can coexist with a non-meat eater <3 This is also an LGBT+ friendly flat so steer clear if you think that’ll be a problem.

Because of council tax, I’m not looking to share with any students – sorry!

About me: I’m a 25 year-old professional, currently working in fundraising for a small charity. I’m quiet and clean, occasionally down for a night out but usually prefer reading or gaming in the evenings. I have newly discovered a great passion for birds, especially corvids!! If we click, it’d be great to spend some time together and get to know each other so we can feel a bit less like just flatmates 😊
