Description
Hi everyone,
A bright and spacious living room, with a fully furnished kitchen.
A well built apartment on the second floor. Very well insulated, quiet, good windows, no damp or any issues like that. The place is carpeted (apart from kitchen and bathroom) which gives it a homely feel. There is a secure bike storage shed behind the building, as well as a grassy garden area for communal use (lovely in summer). There is private parking (when available) and on street parking.
Fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, handblender. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
A washing machine, drying rack, laundry basket, iron. Vacuum cleaner. etc.
A pretty quiet area really with good views from the flat. Just off the high street where you'll find most everything you'd need. A three minute walk to Portobello's wonderful beach.
The bus stop on the corner has very frequent buses into the centre of town. (e. g. the #26 bus.)
Bathroom shared with one person.
Secure entry to the building with key fob.
Tax band D (£100 each)
Energy bills (around £40 each depending on use)
Broadband (£13 each), or you can opt out if you need to it.
Cleaning duties would be shared according to a little schedule.
I'm a friendly, sociable and kind individual. Looking for a professional, responsible, independent and tidy flatmate.
I work five days a week, often on weekend days too. So I'll be away during the day most of the time and many of the evenings as well to be honest.
Some requirements:
- I like to keep the kitchen tidy and clean. For it to be ready for use after the other person is done.
- The same for the house. So tidiness and taking off shoes.
- In the evenings and on my days off I sometimes work behind the computer or need to be able to rest, so need the right environment to do this. (So limited or no music for example at such times.)
- I'm not a muslim, but I don't eat pork and would also like to avoid its cross contamination in the kitchen. Everything else is fine.
- For you to help keep the house orderly and uncluttered.
- No parties (apart from maybe a special occasion here and there) and not to use the house as a base to hang out with friends too often.
The bedroom is nice and simple. A single bed with a quality mattress and bedding, a big built in closet - lots of storage space, a desk and chair, chest of drawers, bedside table and light, laundry basket. I can also acquire more furniture if there’s a need.
In short this is a really great place to have peace and a very pleasant environment to stay, as well as to get work done.
So genuinely looking for a good person, someone who’s got their act together, preferably with a full time job and not working from home.
People who have stayed here loved it, If this is something that would suit you then please get in touch! :-)
