Lovely 2 bedroom house in Portobello

I am looking for a housemate to join me and my 2 lovely cats at our house in Portobello.

We are situated 2 min walk from the beach (you can even see the sea from the back garden).

The house is over two floors, it has a lot of charm. I have lived here for nearly four years now and I’ve completely fell in love with it.

My current housemate is leaving due to not being able to extend her visa.

I am looking for someone similar age, ideally female or queer. I work from home so that has not to be an issue for you, as I’m at home quite a lot, although I do like to go out and socialise after work.

I’d like you to be a friend and not just a housemate. This house is more of a family home rather than a house share so I’d like to keep that vibe going, by making sure we spend time together watching films with a glass of wine/juice. I love cooking food and would love to have meals together every so often too.

My cats are my babies, and they live in the whole of the house. They have their enrichment areas all across of it. I’m diligent with keeping the place tidy, and they had never made mess outside their litter boxes which are in the utility room.

My current housemate kept her bedroom door closed, so the cats are currently trained not to go there but it would be up to you how much of your space you’d like to share with them.

Your bedroom pictures aren’t yet ready as my housemate is currently packing up but I’ll update the photos ASAP. It has a huge built in wardrobe and a small room for storage. It fits a double bed, a desk, and a TV easily. It’s got a window facing the back garden.

The letting agency will run affordability checks and do referencing so it’s important you’re employed or have a guarantor.

It’s okay if you’re a student however we will still have to pay the council bill (with a reduction of course)

£750 each is for the rent (£600), energy costs, council tax and internet.
