Great double room, near Portobello Beach

A large double bedroom is becoming available at the end of August.

The flat is only a few seconds walk away from Portobello high street and just a 3 minute walk from the best part of the beach & the promenade. Plenty of on-street parking, if you have a vehicle. If not, great cycle paths are around and the bus stop is also (literally) seconds away. The 26 and the 124 will take you to Princes St in 20 minutes. If you walk only two minutes further up the high street, there are many more bus routes available.

Within walking distance you have an ALDI’s, a co-op, chemists, hairdressers & barbers. Edinburgh Leisure’s gym is only on the promenade, endless cafe’s and food joints too.

I have lived here for over 6 years, so definitely treat it as more of a home, than your typical flat share. Currently sharing with one girl, this other in question is leaving to return to Canada - so naturally the room is up for grabs!

The kitchen and bathroom, both of which are shared, were modernised a couple of years back. In the last month, the whole place has had everything painted & decorated. The large living room is also shared. Three large double bedrooms. Massive private back garden (which i have maintained), that is sweet for BBQ’s - and the neighbours are all great too. Central gas heating throughout - and also a gas kitchen hob.

Overall - a very easy going and a low maintenance place with homely vibes, in a great location. I do work away and currently only in the place every second weekend, so maybe 6 days of the month. I do have a little buddy called Max, he is a lab/staffie cross and is the sweetest dog ever, loves people!

Bills are included in price, each month. This covers the council tax, virgin media fibre broadband and the gas & electric energy bills.
