Availability, timings & other important points:
Tenancy available for up to 6 months maximum. The timings are relatively flexible - ideally based around starting sometime in early November until late April 2026. The priority is getting the right fit for those who are in the home this winter and the duration of stay.
From Easter / April to the end of October, we provide short-term lets - usually holiday makers and people visiting the city for various reasons. As such, the home contains furnishings, art and other personal things that allow guests to have a great 'home from home' experience. It is very well-equipped but not crammed. People seem to like it a lot.
There is storage space for your things (but not the contents of your whole home), and cupboards will not be emptied out for the period of this tenancy.
This is a temporary short-term let, which will issue a full contract compliant with all Scottish laws, and save your deposit accordingly. You will not make it your 'permanent address'. STL license number is: EH-60489-F. EPC Band C.
Utilities & Additional Bills:
- The super-fast broadband will work on day one, and you will not need to set up and take on any utilities in your own name, as all bills and council tax are included and remain in my name.
- Electricity used is not included in the rent and will be charged separately. It will be based entirely on your use and measured by the SMART meter.
The 'application process':
1. Send a note of interest responding to the questions below
2. Review and contact people who suit the offer best to have a video call with. Calls will be held during September. This may or may not be enough for all parties to make a decision.
3. If an in-person viewing/meet-up is desired, then during the first week of October is when I can show you the property in person. Even if I’m not in Edinburgh to show you around personally, I can always get someone else to meet and show you the property sometime.
