Sunny kingsize room or flat by Portobello beach

The flat

It's a sunny top floor, 2-bed flat, with a shared kitchen-dining-living area. This room has big sky views over rooftops, you can just about see the sea and the Pentlands too. Both bedrooms are spacious, have comfy king size beds, are quiet all day (gardens at the back), and you can see the sea from bed! The bath and shower are both great. The flat has good storage and there's loft space. The flat is a 1 min walk from Portobello beach, friendly neighbours, and is a 20 min bus or cycle ride from Princes Street.

Timings & duration

I'm open to renting
(i) one room or the whole flat for 6 weeks 31st October - 11th December while I'm away travelling (£1700 for the whole flat)
(ii) the room with the wardrobe & desk in it on a longer-term basis, subject to finding a lovely, caring person.

Who I'm looking for

- While I'm away Oct-Dec: a safe pair of hands - someone who will love and care for the flat (it's the small things like wiping down the wood surfaces by the sink!)
- Longer term: same, clean & tidy, good vibes

Who am I

Young professional in the climate & energy space, from Edinburgh, love mountains and the beach, work in the office 2-3 days per week, spend weekday evenings mostly chilling, spinning/yoga/running, at meditation or out and about with people. I'll be in London about once a month for about 1 week, and my boyfriend will be staying in the flat for a long weekend about once a month.

Council tax & wifi included. Electricity & gas not included (about £35-40 per month total + more in winter. EPC C).
