1 bright, clean room in 2-bed flat in Stockbridge

Hello!

I am looking for a flatmate to join my two-bedroom flat in one of the loveliest parts of Stockbridge! Room is available for Sept. 1.

This is a very large, well-kept, furnished flat, with a comfy living room, spacious kitchen, and split bathroom - one room for the shower and another for the toilet. Plus, double glazed windows!

The flat is on St. Stephen Street, which is a nice residential area, and we’re literally steps away from the bus stop, grocery stores, cafes, bars, Circus Lane, the Stockbridge Market and the Waters of Leith! We’re on the top floor of a 3 floor building, but the buildings across the street on both sides are shorter so we also get great views.

The room is large and faces southeast so it gets lots of morning light. Lots of storage space as well with two dressers and a wardrobe. My current flatmate (who is leaving for graduate school) has absolutely loved it!

A bit about me - I’m a 31yo professional originally from the States, working at a local business and as a freelance media producer (plus, I host a pub quiz across the street!). I’m clean but not a neat freak, and enjoy spending my time hiking, exploring the city, and having fun day out with friends.

Ideally I’m looking for someone 25-35 who’s happy to chat or hang out in the evenings, maybe hit a walk occasionally on the weekends, but also is comfy doing their own thing and £ has their own stuff going on!

No students due to the council tax - or a student willing to pay their half.

Rent is £900, council tax is £107, utilities usually fall around £60 (though we’ve gotten refunds in the past for using less electricity, so this could be lower). Room is available Sept. 1, though you would probably be able to start moving some stuff into the common area earlier than that.
