Quite and peaceful place to live

We are not your usual place to stay, we are a Buddhist centre based in Attleborough, just 15 minutes from Norwich. You don't have to be Buddhist to live here.

We can offer you a peaceful and harmonious place to live in and free access to our meditation programmes. More information can be found on our website meditateinnorfolk. org.

Everybody who lives in the centre must attend at least one meditation class and help with the choirs at the centre. We have found that this keeps harmony within the centre.

We are strictly a vegetarian household. We don't allow alcohol or drugs on the premises. We have a no-tv policy but don't mind if you use your laptops or listen to music with headphones, so as not to disturb the other residents.

We have a good selection of shops and restaurants in the local area and we have a good rail link to London, Cambridge and Leicester. We are only 15 minutes away from Norwich.

We have some parking at the back of the property. We have a lovely patio garden to the rear and a communal area for residents to use in the evenings.

We have good fibre-optic broadband in the house.

We are a working centre, which means our doors are open to the public and we have regular classes and events at the centre. Each room has its lockable door so your rooms will be secured.

Cyprus House is a Grade II listed building almost over 400 years old and is one of the oldest buildings in the town. We have spent the last year renovating the roof and dormer windows, making the house warmer and more eco-friendly.

Norfolk is a very beautiful county, with huge open skies and loads of fresh air, we are close to Pedders Way, Thetford forest and 45 minutes from the coast.
