Description
In a rural area, a very quiet and peaceful small flat within a bungalow. Entrance leads from the garden into a small kitchen adjacent to comfortable sitting area, and a single bedroom adjoining. The kitchen has a combi microwave, fridge/freezer, plus other cooking equipment and accessories. The comfortable sitting area includes small TV. The bedroom has single memory-foam bed, double wardrobe and plenty of storage. A lodger has almost sole use of the bathroom comprising bath, hand basin, toilet and shower. Attractive garden on all sides. Most of garden free to share. Off road parking.
This accommodation would be suitable for anyone working from home, (broadband is good) or who wants for get away from it all and “do their own thing.” My dogs are pretty quiet but obviously do bark occasionally.
Distances. Driving :- Norwich 20-25 minutes; Great Yarmouth 20 minutes; shops, doctor, dentist, library, etc 10-15 minutes. River 5-10 minutes; coast 15 minutes; sports facilities 5 minutes.
Walking:- licensed restaurant, log fire, terrace, open all year round, 4 minutes.
My ideal lodger would be quiet, clean and tidy, and caring of the property. It would be a bonus if we had any shared interests. I would consider welcoming a dog but with two dogs of my own, cats would not be possible! I am sorry but I can't accept benefits payments.
As for myself, at 84 I am not as physically active as I was but am fully occupied and busy mentally, writing, painting and playing the recorder and piano, and enjoy an occasional chat over a cuppa. I love animals and nature, and am a vegetarian, but I don't expect others necessarily to share my views.
Do please contact me if you think this sounds like your kind of place.
