Description
Up for rent is the top floor of this large modern 4 bedroom town house in Diss.
The house is shared occupancy with myself (live in landlord)
The top floor is the renter's to use and is not used by myself.
It includes bedroom (big enough for a double bed with built in wardrobe and plenty of storage space), bathroom (with bath/shower) and a living quarters room. (These rooms are all unfurnished)
This rental also includes a shared kitchen/diner - with use of the oven, hob, washing machine, your own fridge with a shared freezer and cupboards for storage.
Shared garden use and parking also available at the property.
This property is on the quiet and peaceful Viscount Close and is a stones throw away from Diss train station (which has Norwich and London lines)
It is around a 10 minutes walk from the town centre and supermarkets.
This is a Smoke free home.
Pets are not out of the question but are also not particularly desirable due to allergies.
£625 per month + £400 deposit + small monthly contribution to energy costs.
All other expenses (council tax, broadband, TV license, water softener) are covered by myself.
My current lodger has been with me for just under 2 years and I'm gutted to see her go as she's been a brilliant lodger! But she's now found her own place and has given her 2 months notice.
She will be moving out on Thursday 14th November - I'd ideally like a week to re decorate and clean upstairs ready for the new lodger so I would say a good moving in date would be the following week - Saturday 23rd November.
I'm an easy going land lord and have much experience with living with different people - male and female within my house.
I work full time as a self employed Guitar teacher and musician - during the days I'll often be working at schools and then teach through the afternoons to mid evenings at home.
Occasionally I will be away from home as I tour around with bands, so need someone trustworthy and reliable that I can depend on to look after the house when I'm not around.
I like a clean and tidy house and have standard house rules as you could expect with most house shares - including an absolute zero tolerance to drugs or smoking within the house.
From experience - I am looking for someone who is easy to get on with, takes pride in their cleanliness and personal hygiene, is reliable and trustworthy and someone that has respect for myself and the house
Feel free to get in contact if interested.
