A friendly older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight for company and in case of emergency. Some additional practical help including picking up shopping, potentially making a few light and healthy meals, walking the dog and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is nicely presented bedroom furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, dressing table, and chest of drawers and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is a village on the coast, around 18 miles to the North East of Norwich (40 mins drive to the centre of Norwich). It is a 15-minute walk to the village shop (2 mins drive) and less than a mile to the beach. However, due to the rural location, this would suit a car driver.

The person enjoys watching TV – dramas and documentaries, knitting and reading (they belong to a book club). They have a small friendly dog.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
