Room to rent in the Silver triange

Hey,

I am looking for someone to rent a room in my house. The room is a decent size and off the hallway on the ground floor. It's just me and my daughter (age 13) who live here. I work from home as a beautician (a separate room attached to the kitchen, so it doesn't affect home life). I am looking for someone who mostly wants the room Mon to Friday due to my daughter. She loves sleepovers and to be honest a group of teenagers running around with facemasks on isn’t fun haha! I would obviously not allow her to do this with an in-live lodger. I am open to negotiating the rent for Mon to Friday situation as this would be more ideal for us.

I occasionally have overseas students stay. They use the bedroom on the first floor. This is so much fun and great to learn about other people’s cultures. Last year we had people from Switzerland and France. They only stay 2 or 3 weeks.

Me and my daughter are quite sociable people and enjoy paddleboarding, camping and bouldering. Her list of hobbies is endless! I have myself an allotment and spend a lot of time there trying to keep fit! I cook from scratch pretty much every night and happy to negotiate an evening meal included. I enjoy cooking.

The house is a larger than normal end of the terrace. 10 rooms in total (including kitchen/ 2 toilets), 3 bedrooms off the hall on the first floor. It has a nice size kitchen and living room. The loft is also extended, which my daughter uses to hang out in. Shared bathroom on the 1st floor.

The house is in Silver Triangle, NR3. We have possibly the nicest neighbours ever. I know at least 20 of them by first name. A lot of them come to me to have their eyebrows done haha! I actually have more keys to their homes than mine! I am the neighbour you ask to keep an eye on things and feed your cat! When I separated from my husband two years ago, three of my neighbours offered to put me on their car insurance as I was left without a car for a while and I was actually on holiday in Italy earlier this year with two of the neighbours! This is how lovely the area is but don’t worry it’s easy enough to keep yourself to yourself.

The room is currently unfurnished. I am more than happy to source a bed etc but I’ll obviously wait on people’s preferences first as we all have different taste for example; single bed, double, futon, hammock! Sleep on what you like! :) When I rented before myself I actually had all my own furniture, so someone might even be in this situation and storage is expensive. The floor has been recently professionally sanded and varnished. The walls have wipeable white paint on them.
