Spacious double room with en-suite in golden trian

ABOUT THE FLAT

looking for a new housemate to join me in this spacious 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat on Unthank Road at the end of August/early September.

The room is a large double room with an en-suite bathroom (toilet and bath with shower) and plenty of space for a desk or other furniture, there is also a large double sliding IKEA wardrobe which can stay in the room if you’d like to keep it for £100. The bedroom is otherwise unfurnished.

The flat also comes with one main bathroom with rainfall shower, which is the bathroom I use (but also for general use).

The living room is fairly large, spacious, comfortable and has a nice Bay Area that overlooks the garden. It’s a really peaceful place to read, work, or eat. The kitchen is also quite large and comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer, etc. I also have some of my own appliances you’d be welcome to use (microwave, halogen oven).

The flat itself is rented unfurnished, but I already have some furniture with my current housemate/ex partner who is moving out (for obvious reasons) and so there is room for negotiating keeping most things if you like them and we can buy her out her share of things, or obviously you’re welcome to bring your own stuff and we can change things up a bit.

The flat also has its own garage with a parking space in front of it which is available for use (I don’t currently own a car) and room for occasional guest parking shared with the other flats. There is also a beautiful garden that is shared with the other flats but only used by us (as two of the other flats have their own dedicated garden, one don’t live here most of the time, and the other doesn’t use it either)

Really nice spot on Unthank Road, 10-15 minute walk to the city centre (the bus also stops right outside, and goes straight to city, train station, Morrisons, and the UEA), landlord is a nice guy, modern neutral feel throughout. I love living here, it’s a great space.

ABOUT THE HOUSEMATE

I’m a 28 year old creative that splits my time between freelancing and creative education. I enjoy photography, music, cooking, exploring, socialising, learning, meditation, anything creative. INFP (if that means anything to you).

I’m quite a tidy person, and like to keep my living environment clean. I’m very respectful of other people’s boundaries, belongings, sleep, and space (we all need alone time sometimes) and that’s my main expectation of a housemate (as well as equal effort on household tasks etc). Sometimes I like a chat and hanging out with housemates, sometimes I prefer to spend time alone in my room. Would enjoy living with other creatives (but not essential, I get on with most people).
