Description
***Please read the description fully and confirm you’ve seen if messaging me, as this is a slightly atypical setup and may not suit everyone.***
The situation:
We are a family of 4 (me, my partner, 17 month old, 6 month old) who spend most of our time in London but have a room in the house for when we visit Norwich. The frequency can vary, sometimes a couple of times in a month, sometimes we might not visit at all for a month or two. Essentially you have the house to yourself most of the time BUT when we are there we will have our 2 babies with us. They are mostly pretty chill and good sleepers, but they are babies so sometimes they will cry or be noisy and this can sometimes be at night. Worth mentioning that they are very good sleepers and very rarely cry throughout the night. When we are in Norwich we (us and the babies) will be around the house, using the living room and other shared spaces.
We are an LGBTQ+ family and have a strong preference to share with someone who is also LGBTQ+, but also open to sharing with someone who is not, as long as you are an ally!
The room:
Huge double (carpeted) room - around 4.5x3.5m with a big built in cupboard, huge wardrobe and a double bed. Plenty of space for desk etc if needed. Because our room is ensuite, the downstairs bathroom will be for your exclusive use, with one exception. There is a washer-dryer in there which we will at times need access to, only when we are visiting of course - but we will not use the sink/bath/toilet etc in there.
The house:
Shared living room, dining room, kitchen. The house was recarpeted about a year ago and the kitchen is also newly refurbished so all nice and clean and in good order. Garden, side alley access, on street parking. The house is near a bus route into the city centre/railway station/NNUH but also can be walked or cycled in a short time.
All bills included in price, inc council tax, broadband, TV license.
The tenant/s (you!):
Looking for someone tidy, respectful, who will look after the house and treat it as a home. Couples welcome. Must be queer friendly, child friendly. Strictly non-smoking inside the house as this is not safe around the babies, but smoking in the garden is okay. Unfortunately we cannot consider pets as unfortunately we both have allergies.
Photos to follow shortly, just need to take updated ones with new carpet/kitchen! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Please indicate in your message that you've actually read this info and are ok with it all, and tell us a little about you!
