Lovely Riverside Double Ensuite with Cat

Hi!

I’m looking for ONE (eine / אחת /une / una / одна / en) lovely female housemate to share my 3- storey terrace in Riverside from September (date flexible). You'd be sharing communal areas with just me (human female) and one female cat (Bessie), and you'd have your own private ensuite bedroom on the first floor.

I'd love someone who values community and connection at home, eg: chatting about Love Island over a cuppa or gin and sharing a meal now and then - but who equally values their independence.

Fab location in Riverside with restaurants, cinema, shops all within a 2 minute walk, train station 7 minutes walk (with direct bus to UEA and NNUH) and city centre 15 minutes walk. The street is pedestrianised and very quiet.

Long and short term considered. Rolling monthly contract. Please note: The room doesn't come with free parking.

YOUR PRIVATE ROOMS (first floor):

Front facing with 2 large windows.

Furnished bedroom - but feel free to make it your own! A new standard double bed will be in place before you move in or very soon after.

Ensuite shower, sink and toilet

TV point and smart speaker

REST OF HOUSE:

Ground floor: Fully equipped large kitchen-diner (washing machine, oven, microwave, soda stream, air fryer etc)

Outside rear: Garden with patio and rickety dining set. I grow veg, fruit, flowers and herbs. Feel free to dig in if you have green fingers 😊

First floor: Living room with TV and balcony

Top floor: My private bedroom, office and bathroom

I like the communal areas to be kept clean and tidy by us both, and you'll make my Yorkshire heart melt if you turn the big light off if you're not in the room 😉

ABOUT ME:

I grew up in Sheffield, and have spent most of my adult life working internationally, although I still put Hendos on everything and say "reyt". I now work for a Jewish relief organisation, mostly from my home office on the top floor, and volunteer at a local theatre. I'm also a registered boxing judge.

My interests include boxing, hiking, animals, gardening, and trashy TV, esp Love Island.

I speak English, Hebrew (עברית) and German (Deutsch).

Mature students and professionals equally welcome.
