Your own private wing with en-suite

After my niece finished college here, I really missed having a young person in the house, so my lovely 28 year old housemate doing an MA in Prose Fiction moved in. She will be going back to Glasgow soon. My daughters and grandchildren visit but this is essentially an all female household. I don’t smoke and would hope that you don’t either.

It’s a nice room in a pretty house I’ve been doing up and you have a new en-suite to yourself in your own private wing with an extra bedroom for occasional guests. It’s a quiet street round the corner from the Connaught cafe and it’s pretty handy for the city centre or the UEA, by cycle, or bus. I think it’s around 10 minutes walk to Upper St Giles. I don’t mind if you have friends or family to stay and you are welcome to bring people to dinner or just hang out in the big kitchen/living room and/or in the south-facing garden.

I love hearing young people singing or playing their music so don’t worry about that so long as it’s more muted after 11pm for the neighbours’ sake but generally I don’t mind.

You can bring your dog if you have one. My collie is 3 and would love the company. She generally goes to bed when I do around 9 and has her own room but if you need a companion to go somewhere with you she will usually woof yes.
