Description
My housemate and long time friend has recently moved out in order to purchase their own house, leaving me with a spacious detached 3-bed in Dussindale/Thorpe St Andrew - about 15-20 minutes from Norwich City Centre.
It’s a nice area, quiet and safe, with access to some useful local things like a Sainsbury’s and Bannatyne’s gym but there’s also good for connected bus routes in and out of the city (bus stop 30 seconds from the front door!) if needed.
The house itself has a large kitchen, a comfy living room and large garden with patio (great for the 2 sunny days we get), and a driveway that will fit 2 cars on if we park strategically, plus there is road space (which isn’t permit parking) for visitors if needed. All bills are included as they’re already in situ but obviously will discuss and work all this out so it’s equal.
The Room
The spare room available, which I’m currently in per the pictures - but will move out of as I don’t use actually use the en-suite, is a good sized double room (3.6m by 3.2m) with a built in wardrobe and features its own en-suite bathroom. I do have some old furniture I could put in the room if needed so there is a possibility I could make the room furnished but I’m happy to discuss this :)
About Me
I’m 32, work full time in IT during the week and have a mixed lifestyle. I’m usually at home during the evenings and weekends, though I am guilty of the occasional night out, plus the odd social evening at home with music and drinks. There’s a projector and surround-sound setup downstairs for proper movie nights, so if you’re into films or just appreciate good sound (one of the pro’s of a detached house), you’ll enjoy it here.
The Ideal Housemate
Ideally looking for someone friendly, tidy and easy-going - social enough to hang out for a chat, film, or a few drinks but respectful enough of downtime. Bonus points if you’re into the gym so we can keep each other motivated (or just mutually complain about leg day). Not looking for couples (feel free to not be single, they just can’t legally reside here as a tenant). Just a considerate human with good vibes who wouldn’t host a drum circle in the living room, who’d enjoy making this place feel like home again :)
I’m also considering other options in terms of moving out either by myself or with another as being closer to the city appeals to me, so if you’re looking to buddy up and get somewhere I’d be happy to discuss that also :)
Thanks
