Hello, we have a Room available in our house share, it is only a 5 minutes walk from the train station. Central location. Local pub (the Jubilee) is on the same street, which is a quiet and friendly pub with a great beer garden. A shop is less than a minute away! On street parking is available but permit is required.
The room is let through an agent so there will be an agency fee to pay.
The carpet is going to be replaced soon, and the bed, TV and cupboard can be left if you want them, as the previous housemate doesn't need to take them.
Current housemates are a 38 yr old male, and a 40 yr old male, but we're both young at heart, and can pass for young 30's 🙂 and we both enjoy going out and going to gigs regularly.
The property is spread over three floors. It has an open plan living room, kitchen, downstairs bathroom with shower.
The middle floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath.
The top floor is an attic conversion to a bedroom.
One of the bedrooms on the first floor is the one becoming available, but it is a spacious double room.
There is a small enclosed courtyard garden at the back of the property with a washing line.
The rent is currently £350 per month, excluding bills. Bills are currently £125 a month which includes Internet, phone and TV, council tax and other utility bills, however this could change, so you need to be able to afford any increases if bills do change, as that is our responsibility to cover.
The room is available now. There's a damage deposit of £350 that the agency will require, and there is a minimum tenancy of 6 months.
