Hi there! I’ve got two spare rooms in my house, and I’m looking for a long-term renter who’ll really make it their own. I run my own business and usually spend about two months a year away, with plans to go up to six months. The house is in a very quiet village, so it really isn’t suitable for someone who doesn’t drive. It has a big 120-foot garden—great for dogs or veggies—and plenty of off-street parking. Both rooms are fully furnished: one is a double bedroom, and the other is a snug room with a sofa and TV. I’m open to male or female tenants—I get on well with women, since my best friend is one—but I’m happy either way. I like to keep the house tidy, but I’m not super strict—there’s a cleaner once a month for the main areas. You’ll have free Wi-Fi, plus a dishwasher and tumble dryer. I should mention this is a quiet village, so you do need to drive, and I don’t take renters on benefits, as I don’t have the time or patience for that paperwork. Also, I don’t have a TV license.
