We have a beautiful Georgian Vicarage in all 5000 sqft, set in 4 acres of gardens and paddock over-looking the Maltsters Broad (near Acle). We are next to the famous Ranworth Church which has a tower and views of up to 20 miles all around. Broads, village shop and pub are only 200 yards away.

By car we are 7 minutes from the A11, 20 minutes into central Norwich and 30 minutes from Great Yarmouth. We are 1 mile from South Walsham and a bus service to Norwich or 4 miles from Acle railway station regular trains to Norwich.

You will be renting an apartment on the 1st floor of a Victoria extension with an upstairs private sitting room 18ft by 12ft with dual aspect you get morning and evening sunshine, a double bedroom and adjoining toilet and bathroom (currently shared but could be made ensuite).

You will have views down to the Broad and up to the Church. The apartment is accessible from the main stairs or from 'servants' staircase in the bootroom below.

Downstairs we have a very large kitchen/dining room with aga, drawing room (or separate TV room), snug, office, large utility and boot room.

We have two energetic boys aged 10 and 12 who are mad keen cricketers (with nets in the garden), like sailing, fishing and table tennis. I'm afraid they do get up early every morning for school (and often at the weekends) but your rooms are in an extension over the boot room so they are reasonably quiet. We also a 2000 sqft stable block that is a music and games area for the lads.

We have a few sheep, 4 chickens, 3 pigs, 2 cats and an occasional black labrador and a well established vergetable patch with raspberries from June.

So if you like the country life, fresh eggs and raspeberries with your breakfast, pints down the local, fishing, cricket or sailing or just a bit of peace and quiet this is for you!

If you prefer big late night parties in your rooms then it probably isn't...

I am a marketing consultant and my wife is a therapist. Neither of us smoke.

This is probably ideal for someone working offshore or working in Norwich/Great Yarmouth and heading home at the weekend. Although if you wanted weekends in this holiday location it would be glorious base from which to go house hunting.
