This is large double room in a warm, clean family home. I am not looking for a long term let here. The previous tenant took the room for 3 months at the start of her contract but ended up staying 5 months because her work contract overran by several months. My son’s work pattern is both varied and flexible but we are both very willing to accommodate the work patterns of others as long as we can all co-exist fairly quietly because this is an ‘estate’ setting, so we have to be mindful of our neighbours as well.
There is plenty of on-street parking but there are also excellent bus links into the city centre. (Boris-bikes also available nearby!) The property is 15 minutes away from the hospital via the ring road and 20 minutes away from the university. You can walk into the city centre in 40 minutes. There are 3 large supermarkets within 20 minutes’ walk and there are numerous local, late night shops and take aways so you’ll never be without fresh milk or a ‘take away’ if you are working shifts!!!
Within the property there is an upstairs shared bathroom with WC, bath and shower. Downstairs, there is separate WC and sink. I bought the property for it’s large garden and the rear patio is a proper suntrap in the afternoons. There is a large well-equipped kitchen, large, separate dining room/conservatory and comfortable front room which can be used communally although the available room does have it’s own mini fridge and TV.
There is unlimited wifi and all bills are included. I don’t mind you vaping indoors, but, as an ex-smoker myself, I must insist that you smoke outside.
The room can be locked and I would never enter without asking permission first but the airing cupboard is in there and the loft access is also via that room as well. If you would prefer to take the room on a weekly basis it will be £200 per week. I will require 3 months wage slips/bank statements and at least one form of photographic ID.
