Double room - Bring a kitty kat if u like 🐈‍⬛

Bills all in, one double room, no en-suite. Not looking for a permanent house share buddy, short term is best for us because my brother is away fighting abroad in an army so when he says he's heading home, the room needs to be free for him. There will be a few weeks notice at least. If you were the perfect buddy up & we just didn't want you to leave, then my brother will have to bunk up in the box room so there is flexibility & no one is going to get rushed out of the room with nowhere to go.

The house has one small but nice bathroom with a shower but no bath. Two loos, one up, one down.

Cat friendly, we love cats, especially black ones & we have cat flaps. No indoor only cat please, unless it just refuses to go out anyway (I don't want a kitty prisoner). No dogs.

There are two of us already (we're not a couple) & three when my brother is home which isn't too often. We have a rental house next door & a good friend rents it from us so it can be a sociable place between the two houses but it's no party pad these days. He's moving out soon by the way, that 2 bed semi will be up for grabs soon, part furnished £750pcm. Ask for details if interested.

I don't smoke but my partner in crime does a bit. We have only one room for smoking which is the conservatory but it's cold in winter as it has wide open windows at all times for good air flow. The door between the conny & the house stays strictly closed so the rest of the house is completely smoke free & very clean & tidy. Smoking is outside in the back garden in the summer months when hot inside the conny.

The room I'm offering is a lovely room at the front of the house with a good look out from the window. We have nice gardens & the back garden is very private. It's a light, sunny house in summer & it's cosy in winter with mood lighting in every room & there's a good vibe throughout. I work away a lot & my friend is home most nights but does work away too sometimes for shorter stints.

Part of the deal for the price I'm offering is that you chip in with watering the gardens with the hose pipe every day or most days in summer (at the end of the day) & the house plants although it won't just be down to you, the watering duties will be shared but must be taken seriously as the plants are expensive ones.

The 24 hour Jet garage is a 2 minute walk away & LIDL is a 3 minute walk. There is a local bus service but no trains.

Must be clean & tidy. Ninja coffee machine in kitchen, feel free to use it but please bring coffee beans home from LIDL to help keep it going & you must fill it with water & empty it too to avoid problems

The downstairs laminate floor is being replaced with ceramic tiles but there's not much noise or disruption to every day life as its done in small sections as & when we get time which isn't that often

We have e very clean (but not obsessively) & tidy house & a messy third member won't do. We thrive on organisation & order as it keeps things happy & stress free so if you're naturally messy, you won't fit in here.
