A friendly, older person is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including shopping, cooking four evening meals each week, and help with light household chores, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a double room with chest of drawers and wardrobe and a shared bathroom. there is also a study

The property is conveniently located close to a bus stop; bus takes approx. 35 mins into York. The village has a couple of pubs, a Thai restaurant and a spa hotel where residents can join the gym.

The person’s interests include painting, gardening, current affairs, reading.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
