About the House
A lovely home in Bilton with a separate annex room. The annex has its own private entrance, bedroom, and bathroom, as well as its own heating, so you’ll have plenty of privacy and independence. It has a double bed, big wardrobe and a desk.

The location is great 20 minutes’ walk to town, 2 minutes from Kings Road (with Sainsbury’s Local, great restaurants, takeaways , and coffee shops). Just a few minutes’ walk from the house is the cycle path, which leads to loads of lovely walks, and you can walk to the riverside at Knaresborough in around an hour, and abit longer to Ripley.

About Me
I’m Becky, 32, pretty easygoing and sociable. I work full-time in an office and I’m also as a wedding celebrant, so some weekends are spent marrying people, while others are very much sofa based. I have a busy social life but also love nights in watching series, working on crafts, or reading. I enjoy hiking and having friends round for dinner/drinks/board game nights, and love music & musical theatre so most of my time cooking or cleaning is combined with singing (badly!). This is a LGBTQ+ friendly household (I’m a lesbian), and it’s important to me that the house feels safe, relaxed, and welcoming.

What I’m Looking For
I’m hoping to find someone friendly, considerate, and easygoing , and who is happy to chat or share the odd meal, but also someone who values their own space. I do my best to keep the house clean and tidy, so I’d love someone who’s respectful of the house and its contents and helps out when needed.

Similar interests would be lovely, but not essential, more than anything, I’m hoping to find someone who’s kind and can have a laugh . Bonus points if you don’t mind animals, friends sometimes visit with their fur babies.

My current lodger is only leaving as he is moving to Australia, and is happy to chat to prospective new lodgers to tell them what it's like in the house etc.
