Large Double room Haxby, York

You would be living in a family sized house with the landlord and one other flatmate. You have a large light, furnished double bedroom. Your bathroom has an on demand shower, bath and toilet. In the bedroom the furniture includes a desk to work at if required and the house has wireless internet facility.
There is ample off street parking on the double drive. I have a garage but I do not keep vehicles in it.

Haxby is just off the ring road and has good transport links into and around York including a very regular bus service. It is easy to acess Nestle the hospital and the northern industrial/ retail parks
There are good facilities in Haxby itself including several banks and supermarkets. but it retains some its own 'village' identity as well if you want to wander in for a pint for instance.
You would share the downstairs living rooms: large lounge /diner and kitchen with facilities expected in family sized home. I have a big back garden which I enjoy and people value for relaxation.
I have an independant cat which, spends most of his time outside, and is not allowed upstairs.
All bills are included, with the exception of the landline telephone.
I am a sociable person and hope you would feel relaxed in my company, but I would respect your routines and privacy.
I have had housemates in my home for a good few years now.

I have recently changed ad. to reflect fact that the other tennant by 1/11/15 will be my 30yr old son here temporarily and he actually smokes but he does not do so in the house.
