In a quiet, clean, comfortable house with: double bed, walk-in wardrobe, chest of drawers PLUS desk and chair(s) if required. There is shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, living room, garage and garden.

Amenities: unlimited Wi-fi (BT Halo), bed linen and towels; also regular housekeeping and laundry services.

You should be clean, responsible and respectful of others’ property, needs and shared spaces; male, 25+ and in full-time employment on a regular schedule. You will be sharing with a live-in landlord, one other renter and a cat.

Rent (£130) is payable weekly in advance and includes bills, Wi-fi, off-street parking and garage storage (for a bicycle or tools). Security deposit (£130) is also payable in advance and will be retained in case of damage or in lieu of notice (1 week).

Haxby is 4 miles north of York city centre, near the outer ring-road with buses: 1, 1A, 13/14 and 20 (timetables vary seasonally). There are good local shops, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, cafes, pubs and a gym.
