Single, en-suite, attic room in brand new house

Single room with shower en-suite in the attic of my brand new house.. New carpet just fitted. I am yet to furnish and so the lucky lodger could get to specify what they want.

Its a nice room at the top of the house. Very private. You could simply come in the front door and go straight up stairs if you wished. Unlike a lot of live in landlord situations, there is no having to walk through and past anyone to get to the kitchen or the bathroom.

The village is extremely quiet and rural. There is no bus or shop. However, there is a great village pub, the Jolly Farmers that's excellent and does good food. York is 14 mile and its a good quick run and half an hour drive.

The room would suit a mature professional, (not working from home), who is quiet, domesticated clean, tidy and outgoing. I'm not looking for anyone into late nights or partying. Equally, if you like to keep yourself to yourself and have privacy, that's important and would be respected.

You'd be willing to help out occasionally with the generally housekeeping but nothing arduous !

I'm a professional and building surveyor and work locally and a young big kid at 51 !

I'm getting the house straight after moving and there are a few jobs to do, but essentially moving in late July / Aug would be good.
