The Coach House

This room has been specifically refurbished to accommodate a lodger. It is located on the ground floor, has nearly 20 square meters of space, a double bed, sofa, dressing table, full length mirror, bedside table, coffee table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Lots of light comes from the coach house windows with fully lined, thick wool curtains. A private toilet and wash basin have been installed adjacent to the room and there is access to a shared downstairs bathroom which contains a bath and overhead shower. There are laundry facilities and a private cooking space.

The house is located in the middle of the small, peaceful, rural village of Thixendale which has a shop and pub which serves excellent meals at a reasonable price and serves guest ales. The room would suit someone who enjoys the peace and tranquility of rural life. It is 10 miles from Malton, Pocklington and Stamford Bridge and 20 miles to York so ideal for a commuter but you must be able to drive and have your own car.
