Melsonby is a small village situated midway between Darlington and Richmond. There is a strong community feel, with various amenities and local groups either in the village or based nearby.
Ideal for communing as excellent travel links – 5 minutes drive to A1 and A66 (Darlington & Richmond 10mins, Newton Aycliffe & Barnard Castle 20mins, Northallerton 25mins).

I am a single woman, and currently share my home with a friendly small dog and cat. I work from home, and while I am not the tidiest person, I like things to be clean..

I am ideally looking for a longer term lodger, although shorter term (3+ months) will be considered. I am open to sharing my home with a smoker, but for health reasons no smoking inside the house. or using incense/ fragrances,. As I work from home and am around a lot, clicking with someone as a person is more important to me than age or other specifics that SpareRoom asks for firm views on; so feel free to get in touch if the house and location seem like they might suit you.
