Lovely Double Room Close to South Bay

Good-sized double room in a two-bed apartment, where you would be sharing with a friendly and considerate, self-employed housemate.

Overlooking Esplanade Gardens, the apartment is close to Ramshill shops and a short walk to South Bay and the town centre, with plenty of places to walk and go running. The area is quiet and there is usually plenty resident parking.

There is a spacious shared dining room/living room with washing machine, kitchen and bathroom (bath, sink, toilet), and a shared shower room in my bedroom.

The bedroom has room for a double bed, wardrobe, and furniture and would be ideal for a mature student, professional, or someone staying Monday to Friday.

The room is currently unfurnished but I can provide a bed, shelving, and hanging rails if needed.

Must like dogs, as I have a very loving and friendly border collie, who would no doubt be delighted to have a new friend about the house.

I am sociable but also enjoy quiet time and being at home. I speak fluent Italian, love home-cooking, good food and wine, conversation, walking, meditation, Tai Chi, Jive, and dance, among many other interests.

As a tenant, you would need to have a credit check, provide references, and go on the rental agreement. You will also need to pay a deposit to the landlord, which would be secured. As a ballpark figure, I think this will be 5 weeks rent (your share of the rent is £375 but I will need to confirm this with the landlord)

The rent includes water rates, Wi-fi, and Council Tax. Electricity and gas is covered although a small top-up may be required over winter as I don't know what it will be yet.

This is a clean-as-you-go house so I would expect you to keep your room and shared areas clean.

I have just moved in so I can only provide pictures of the flat empty for now but I will update this very soon once I've got the place sorted.
