Very large double room close to town and uni

The house is about 10 minutes walk from the University of York and about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. The house has a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area, washing machine, a bathroom and an additional toilet, and a small garden. There is also a separate garage and off-road parking if you require a car or bike.

The bedroom itself is a very spacious room with a double bed, desk and chair and 2 large built in double wardrobes with drawers. I can provide bedding if necessary. Rent includes council tax. Bills (landline phone, internet, water, electricity and gas) usually average out at about £55 each per month (paid quarterly) (although with recent price rises, this can't be guaranteed).

Although I technically live at the house, I am not around most of the time so you would have plenty of space as you would pretty much just be living with one other person. We are looking for a friendly and tidy but fairly quiet person who likes a chat but is also happy to do their own thing. And if you have an interest in gardening, even better!

I am looking to do viewings one after the other if possible. Therefore, if you would like to arrange a viewing, Thursday evenings after 6pm are preferred. However, viewings at other times can be accommodated.
