One furnished double room available in a modern, light end of terrace house close to the City of York and outer-ring road. Available from the 11th October.
Sharing with two other young professionals, and the live-in landlord (although, admittedly, I am often away doing campaigning work). We're looking for an additional respectful, relaxed, tidy, and like-minded flatmate. We're all vegan and would prefer sharing with someone whose ideals align with our own. Small companion animals are potentially welcome too, this can be discussed.
Room includes a chest of drawers, desk, wardrobe, a bookshelf, and a comfy, bed w/ bedside table.
Shared upstairs modern bathroom with bath/shower.
Additional downstairs toilet.
There are four rooms upstairs. Two are shared by a couple, the third is used by me when I am in the house, and the fourth would be yours.
Downstairs there is a shared living room with a desk, sofas, shelves, and a 42" Ultra-HD 4K Smart TV. We have a 20L Low Energy (quiet) dehumidifier & air purifier to keep the rooms dry and fresh throughout the year. Also comes with a laundry setting for quick-drying of clothes.
Shared Kitchen/Diner with own cupboard and shared access to a large American-style fridge/freezer meaning there is ample space for fresh food. There is an additional freezer in the utility room with a very modern washing machine. Kitchen includes essential amenities such as a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and food processor. Good condition shared kitchen utensils available, or bring your own.
Happy to arrange a "virtual viewing" or video tour if desired.
Secure and private garden and patio area to front and rear of the property. Includes a secure but unsheltered bike rack. Lots of plants and wildlife. We have had birds and hedgehogs nesting in our hedge.
Plenty of on-street parking available.
Good access to the City of York (20 minutes by bus, 15 by bike).
Commuter access to York ring-road and Leeds.
All bills included, including renewable gas & electricity (Octopus); ethical broadband (GreenISP); water; and council tax. I also provide toilet roll.
NB. Viewing essential as the garden is more 'rewilded' now and the house is more 'lived in' than the photos suggest. Unfortunately I am not around to update them yet!
